" Kea Lani Villas " Last year was Harlan and Marian's 40th wedding anniversary so we all decided to pack up and head for the sun. We were fortunate to vacation with Denny and Jan a couple years earlier in Hawaii and had such a great time, we decided to go back. We flew into Honolulu and stayed at the Hawaiian Village Resort which is a great location on Waikiki Beach (highly recommend for anyone traveling to this area). We spent a day touring Pearl Harbor and the surrounding areas and just relaxing on the beach. It seemed like we just arrived and we were picking up our belongings and moving on to our final destination, the Kea Lani Resort on the Island of Maui. We had the privilege of staying at the Kea Lani a couple years earlier and was lucky enough to get the exact same villa we had previously rented (this way we knew where everything was at). We spent the next 8 days soaking up the sun and enjoying all the amenities that Maui has to offer. We went snorkeling and swimming (well Harlan tried snorkeling but had a few problems), took scenic drives along the beach, Harlan rented a Dodge Viper for a cruise to Lahaina with the boys, we watched migrating hump-back whales play in the waters offshore, we went snuba diving, shopping, played cards, watched a Luau on the front lawn, ...
